SAN DIEGO SURF CUP QUALIFIER
The Surf Copa Kelowna is a new elite showcase and qualifier event for competitive clubs across Canada and the United States
The 2023 Surf Copa Kelowna is a Premier Event bringing teams together from Western Canada with a chance to showcase their talents. The tournament is a part of the North American Copa Surf Series, which are qualifier events for acceptance into the prestigious Surf Cup in San Diego which brings together the Best of the Best across the world. The top teams in the U13+ divisions will get an automatic spot in the 2023 San Diego Surf Cup in July 2023.
The BC Soccer Sanctioned tournament is open to all teams comprised of properly registered youth players (as defined by the rules BC Soccer) and be in good standing with its youth association.
The Surf Kelowna is being held in cooperation with Kelowna United Football Club. The event will take place at the beautiful Mission Sports Field Complex in Kelowna, BC and will have University College coaches in attendance.
The tournament management committee will review all team applications and at its sole discretion, and they will determine the acceptance of a team application and the committee’s decision is final. Tournament director / committee may from time to time make decision for the betterment of the teams and players and their design is final.
The Premier Division will be the only division this year for ages U13+. The tournament is reserved for teams that are of Metro level (Provincial A Cup) or higher.
Teams and players must be registered with their governing body (Provincial, State, or National Association).

Tournament Acceptance Fee: $600-$850 + gst

All teams/individuals who need accommodations are REQUIRED to make hotel reservations through the Event Connect portal you created at Registration. For teams that need accommodations if you do not book your rooms with Event Connect you may be excluded from our tournament.
